PHD Consulting, Inc. · AssetSentry™ software

Inspection software that behaves like an inspector, not a form.

AssetSentry™ is a family of systems for owner-operators, fabrication shops and inspection companies: mechanical-integrity records, inspection & test plans on the shop floor, shop-QC packages, manufacturing estimates, NDT and API reporting, a pocket reference and certification practice. Each customer runs on its own address and its own database.

The apps

Seven web systems, one set of rules.

Every system answers on its own address. Three are open to try right now; the rest are set up per customer — its own address, its own database, its own Admin who creates the users. Live in a day; nothing to install.

AssetSentry™ MIMechanical-integrity records for owner-operators: equipment registers loaded from the U-1, CMLs and readings by date, corrosion rate, remaining life, API 510 / 570 / 653 reports and calculations, next-due intervals and a needs-inspection list you can plan a turnaround from. Your engineers and inspectors sign in to the same record.Refineries · plants · terminals · tank farms — find your sign-in

AssetSentry™ ITPThe shop's own inspection & test plan built out row for row as a traveler, signed Production / QC / Third-party on the floor, with NDE reports, MTRs and photos attached to the point that called for them. The data book prints from the record. Each shop gets its own address and a floor card with a QR to get there.Fabrication shops — mfgenergy.com

AssetSentry™ QCShop-QC packages for an owner's fabrication program: hold and witness points, NDE, MTRs, findings and close-out, with the owner, the shop and the third-party inspector on one record. Built for refinery fabrication programs; co-branded for the inspection company running them.Refiners · EPCs · inspection companies — per program

AssetSentry™ EstimateManufacturing estimates and quotes for pressure vessels, finger slug catchers and vortex separators: plate, heads, nozzles, forgings, weld metal and shop hours from a take-off; ASME VIII-1 thickness checks with allowable stress at design temperature; a dated, sourced material price book with CSV and index updates; a customer sizing sheet; roll-up to a printable quotation.Estimators — estimate.mfgenergy.com (open)

Field RefThe inspector's pocket reference: pipe chart, flanges and bolting, gaskets, materials, welding, coatings, fittings and forgings, and acceptance-criteria clause pointers — on the phone, offline once loaded. Save and share a lookup in two taps.Inspectors · technicians — fieldref.innovativeinsp.com (open)
Testing ProNDT and inspection certification practice — UT, MT, PT, RT, VT, ET, API 510 / 570 / 653, CWI and safety — with training lessons, checkpoint quizzes, timed practice exams and proctored certificates when you pass.Technicians · inspectors · training coordinators — testingpro.innovativeinsp.com (open)

Desktop products

Report writers that run on the laptop, offline.

Windows installers with a 30-day trial built in — install, use it on real jobs, activate with a license key when you are ready. The report carries method, procedure, technician, level and date, and the acceptance evaluation the technician confirms. Click a tile to see it run and to download.

01

NDT Reporter

Reports for the ASME V methods — UT, PAUT, MT, PT, VT, RT — with acceptance evaluation against the construction code and the job's NDE plan.

API Reporter

API 510 / 570 / 653 inspection reports with the calculation engine — t-min, MAWP, corrosion rate, remaining life, intervals — computed from measured data with the clause cited.

Windows · v1.0

QA Reporter

Shop-surveillance and ITP point tracking with findings and punch lists — source inspection on the client's behalf, release to ship with the evidence attached.

How they're built

Four rules, in every system.

They are why the reports hold up in front of an auditor, an insurer or the next inspector.

Measured, not recalled

Every number traces to a reading, a drawing or a data report. If it was not measured or read, it is not in the record.

Own math

t-min, MAWP, corrosion rate, remaining life and intervals come from the code formulas and the asset's own design data — never a value copied across.

Verified before trusted

Code values and reference tables are checked against the published standard before they are relied on — and marked until they are. Prices carry a source and a date.

Signed by a person

Every sign-off carries the name and time of the person who made it. A finding is closed with evidence or it stays open, on the list, in the data book.

And one rule about hosting: every owner-operator and every shop runs in its own project, on its own address, with its own database. There is no shared table to cross.

Trial downloads

Try the report writers for 30 days.

Windows 10/11, 64-bit. Each installer is about 220 MB because it carries its own browser engine — nothing else to install. The trial clock starts on first run; when it ends the app asks for a license key. Windows may show a "publisher unknown" SmartScreen prompt on first launch — choose More info → Run anyway.

Licenses are issued per named inspector and lock to that name on activation. Ask for one below.
